What are yours?
My plan is to maintain my great consistency with workouts during the month of December. I sort of lost it this week -- two more days missed for a total of six missed days this month, but it is far & above better than any other month this year!
It's gonna be a challenge as I resigned from my part time job & will start working full time January 7, but sometimes I manage my time better when I have less of it. Do you find that as well?
What are your fitness goals for '08?

Winter Specific: Go skiing every Saturday Go to indoor Rock Climbing Gym Sunday
Also, I really need to figure out why I'm so stiff in my right lower back. Left side is fine, right side has 1/2 the flexability of the left.

2. I'm taking it one month at a time. |
|
My goal for January is to burn 7000 calories (two pounds.) Since a 300-calorie session on my recumbent exercise bike takes 50 to 60 minutes, that works out to about 20 sessions or roughly five times a week, which is realistic, based on my work schedule. I may be able to do more but that's my goal.

3. I have 3, one is kind of odd. |
|
I want to put on 15 lbs of muscle;
I want to run in an actual marathon. Not win, but run Clydesdale class and finish;
The odd one...
There's a guy at my gym that's morbidly obese, probably around 300 lbs. He's trying really hard, but needs a little guidance. Doesn't really know exactly what to do. He's asked me for advice, sort of off-the-cuff a few times. I'm thinking about committing to helping him out on a professional level. I think we can pull 75 lbs of crap off of him this year. So, my big fitness goal is for another person.
