Replace Lieberman with Ned - send $ to NedLamont.com
Joe Lieberman will vote for cloture on the Alito nomination today.

If he had held, we would not lose because of the pressure on the others. We may still win.

But the only way to express our anger is to sens cash and donate time Ned at NedLamont.com.

It is time to get rid of Fox News' favorite Democratic Senator.

6. Anybody but Joe
In addition to that, Lamont appears to be an honorable man, and a good possibility.

I have already signed on to work for him.

I have never voted for Lieberman (except for VP, because I had no choice), and I never will.

7. Lieberman
I liked Lieberman the best of all during the Democratic
Debates in '04. I am one of the millions of Americans who are
not "far left" or "far right". He has
shown that he is not a party robot who just follows along, but
someone who can think for themselves. He went to Iraq &
came back with his own honest assessment of the situation,
even though it was not popular with his party. I think he is
an American 1st & a politician 2nd. We need more like
him. "We're not Bush" is not a platform that can
win a majority of votes among "moderates" or
whatever you call those of us who vote on issues & facts
& not knee-jerk party positions. The security of our
country depends on all of us across the spectrum of political
views to find some common ground.

9. What exactly did invading Iraq have to do with the 'security of our
country'? Since Iraq had nothing to do with 9/11 (even Bush
and Cheney admit this now), since the 'weapons of mass
instruction' story has now been shown to be a cynical
concoction, since Israel (probably holy Joe's real concern all
along) is not one bit better off now that the US is occupying
Iraq, what the hell has this done for our (or Israel's)
security? The "issues and facts", my friend, show
that Joe Lieberman is wrong.
Also, since polls have shown for months now that the
majority of Americans believe we should not have invaded Iraq,
how is Joe's platform possibly one "that can win a
majority of votes among 'moderates'"?
The security of our country might be helped quite a bit if
people like you could think and speak a little more logically.

8. Good idea! Here's the text of an email I
just sent holy Joe the backstabber (after signing up on Ned Lamont's website):

Dear Joe:

Thanks for your help in getting us into a pointless war that has killed 30,000 Iraqis and over 2200 American kids. Thanks also for helping the Bush crime family turn a trillion dollar surplus into a trillion dollar deficit. And thanks especially for your cowardly reluctance to oppose the selection of Mr. Alito to the increasingly right-wing Supreme Court.

To show my appreciation, I have just signed up to help Ned Lamont kick your sorry ass out of Washington in November.

Sincerely,
a (real) Democrat
