If it weren't our last chance to recover from Republican Occupation, I'd we working on a guerrilla campaign to elect Kucinich. But it is our last chance. The Republican Party has to go. They've cast aside their pretenses about financial responsibility, law and order. They're the Torture party. They're the Borrow and Squander party. They're the Lying to get War party. They're the Dictatorship party. These fascist assholes have also ruined our reputation. They violated the Geneva Convention. They violated the Nuremberg accords. They've probably ruined the lives of generations of American workers. I can't imagine any Democratic President or Congress would try to reconcile with this party. You might as well kiss up to the Nazis. We need to deal the GOP horror a death blow in the upcoming fight. We need to do it to regain control of our nation. We need to do it to regain our self respect. And the rest of the world needs to see us do it. They need proof that we haven't degenerated into a fascist state. So let me offer a virtual knuckle sandwich to the next one that says they're going to skip the election. Every vote is needed on the line. On the eve of the 2004 Theft Hunter Thompson recommended that we use meat hammers to drive reluctant voters to the polls. It's a pity we didn't If I felt that my failure to vote had allowed another pig Republican into the White House, I'd be suicidal. Spare yourself the pain. Vote for the nominee.

1. since the party has decided there are two types of voices - |
|
those from the 48 states and Puerto Rico and Guam . . . those that are heard
and then those from Florida and Michigan . . . . those to be ignored.
Because of that, I, as a Florida voter, do not see why I should support the nominee of the party.
I shall vote for a Democrat - but not the choice of the power-hungry party leaders.
You can play your little "blindly-support-the-nominee" game - but until this is fixed and all members of the party are recognized equally, I will support my personal choice. What if the party decided to disenfranchise women or blacks or seniors, would you still blindly follow their choice?

2. Thanks for the most sane comment on this site. |

Though the competition isn't all that great. That is also the stated policy of the site.
To the first responder, hang in there FL an MI, there is no way the party can seat delegates from open primaries and caucuses and not two of the largest and most important states.
