Why is there a prominently positioned

advertisement/video clip from Republican/Independent Mike Bloomberg attacking DEMOCRAT Bill Thompson (Bloomberg's Democratic opponent in the New York City mayoral campaign) on this site? It's a rhetorical question --- I know money talks, and Bloomberg has multi-billions --- but an ad attacking a Democrat really seems out of place here.

1. Ads are auto-fed to the site..

..but there appears to be no partisan filter. There are browser tools to turn off ads out there. Less clutter and surfing is way faster too.
