Obama clearly stated he was going to bring troops home. He recently suggested many times that the savings from stopping our troops from murdering innocent people overseas would save us billions.

However, I have recently been hearing there is a chance he might send more troops. I know this has not happened, he has not jumped the gun and is 'considering it'. The answer might be "hell no". I am slightly disgusted this option is even being considered? Is there a good web page, links here or some types of updates I can get on this? I am not seeking your opinion on the war although I made mine clear. I am looking for suggestions of resources which will help me follow this other than the local news.


I am very disgusted that health care has not been passed yet. I spent well over $1,000 of my own money and a hundred or so of my own hours supporting Obama. This is the sole reason I voted for him. What he promised during his campaign is not happening. Every health care reform 'bill' which has been suggested is nothing like he promised. Even if 50,000,000 republicans are offended who cares? He said he would fix health care. Now it looks like he is going to negotiate his position to make republicans happy? At least Bush had the balls to stand by his decisions. Most recently I heard the public option would be past but each state would be allowed to decide if they would offer it or not.

So if you are dying with an existing condition, uninsured and live in one of the states which decide to go with the public option you are ok. If you are dying with a pre existing condition and uninsured living in one of the states which did not adopt it you will continue to die until death.

I do not understand? This is not what he promised. Why is he simply not demanding all states must do this as he initially promised. Are there any good websites, messages here, forums or articles I can use to help me better understand why Obama is seeming more like a typical lying politican? He made this great promise. Now unlike bush he seems like he will collapse and negotiate with those who disagree. Although I offered mine I am not seeking your opinion.

I am seeking your assistance in locating resources which will keep me updated with information relevant to my question(s).
