2. Who is Michael Turner, and why should I click on a "story" about his death?
Thank you.

7. Well, I guess my question is
Why would you click all the way to the Comic Book Group, and then read the thread, and then decide not to click on either of two explanatory links?

8. I would prefer...
...if you answered my question, before I answered your question.

9. All right
Michael Turner invented the first workable perpetual motion generator. It functioned, in part, by harnessing the hitherto untapped Orgone and Zero-Point energies.

Additionally, he pioneered a process of genetic engineering for poultry, as a result of which chicken bones are now perfectly safe for dogs.

Now go click the Wiki link if you're still reading, you freak.

10. "go click on the link" is not a reason why I should do what you say
The DU Comic Book Group exists for DU members to talk about their favorite comic book characters, universes, storylines, film adaptations or anything else of a comic book nature. This includes all comic book genres, past and present. Discussion of the comic book industry is also welcome.

I wrote that statement in January 2005. Skinner approved it.

This thread appears to be a completely off topic post in the comic book group, additionally the presence of the the last demand and the pejorative term "freak" fits the Wikipedia description for an internet troll.

Unless you can explain why you dumped this link on this group, I will be recommending this thread for deletion.

Warm Regards,

Jeez, take a break. I'd think that anyone who read the post and the corresponding text would understand that I was being facetious. Should you decide to recommend this thread for deletion, please add "hyperliteral and humorless" to "freak."

DU is chock full of blind links to YouTube and elsewhere, and very nearly all of them are useless, redundant, or irrelevant, and I can't recall you complaining about too many of those. When Krugman got his Nobel, I counted close to a dozen of such posts in short order. Or, worse, subject lines saying "Krugman wins Nobel Prize" with no message text. But my thread, which had already sunk well below the top of the page, is the one that got your knickers in a twist? :wtf:
I post not one but two links to the story of the death of a contemporary comic book artist, and you get on your More-DU-Than-Thou high horse and issue a flaccid threat? :wtf: :wtf:

Hey, if you've got a sufficient love for comics that you stepped up and wrote the charter, then I'd think that you'd have a passing familiarity with current and recent big names in the industry. If that's not the case, then that's not my problem.

Fondest best wishes,
Orrex

11. Michael Turner wrote a new Wolverine: Origins series?
I would love to read that.

Has anybody seen it?
