We also need to try to elect the most progressive people we know. For example, I live in Wisconsin's first district, represented by Republican Paul Ryan, and we had a bad field of Democratic candidates and we lost by 40%! I know that I would have tried to beat him but I was 17 at the time. The candidate we nominated did not have yard signs until middle- to late-October! We need Democrats with a spine and with guts:

We need candidates who support single payer health care
We need candidates who support renewable energy
We need candidates who will repeal the Taft-Hartley Act
We need candidates who will repeal the REAGAN tax cuts

We just need candidates with spines
