Can anyone recommend a book, CD or video on learning Arabic? |

I've been trying to do this for a while and I could use the help.
On edit: I've already tried a couple of the standard Pimsleur and Berlitz CDs, and they were all right, but I was interested in seeing if anybody here has had better success with something that might be available at a library or Amazon. Thanks.

1. Try the Teach Yourself books, which are available from Amazon |

Seriously, though, Arabic is considered one of the most difficult languages for English speakers to learn, and not all the Teach Yourself books are equally good. Read the user reviews.
You should really take a course at a local college if you want to get beyond the "Where is the hotel?" stage.
