In Arabic, does the verb change depending on whether you’re talking to a man or woman? nt |

1. Well, if it's like Hebrew (and the two are related), there are different "you" pronouns |
|
for males and females.
When I took my one semester of Biblical Hebrew, one of my fellow students translated the masculine plural you as "you guys" and the feminine plural you as "you gals."
Unfortunately, I remember very little of the Hebrew I learned over 20 years ago. I do recall, however, that "Emanuel" really DOES mean "God with us."
