Throw away your TV: Video Blog
Been working hard on the TayTV Network, still nowhwere near completion, but I did finally finish the Video Blog site, now all I have to is upload videos to it.

The Web is full of usefull tools and recently I found one called vSocial which is very much like google video, I don't upload personal blogs though, I enjoy watching Documentaries and uploading the interesting snippets that I find, thats what you'll find in this blog. (as well as other random clips from around the net)

The Beauty of using vSocial is that you can embed the videos right on your blog, no loading or downloading or new windows flying up everywhere, it's all very magical and I'm a fan of new tools on the web that make it much easier for the presenter and the audience.

The Video Blog will hopefully keep the average user entertained and provide material for other bloggers to use, again it's just part of my master plan throwawayyourtv.com (which is in beta until at least feb.)

1. Most Excellent!
I write the DU Blog Box column (every Friday on the DU homepage). I'll be sure to mention your site this week!

I'm really impressed with the embedded videos info!

2. nifty
Looking forward to your plug, i'll be sure to put on a tie :P The embedded videos are absolutly essential for blogs, although written content is very important too, im not much of a writer, (Being a Canadian I went to French Immersion meaning I learnt nothing but french at school until I was in grade 9 ~ Even in highschool 70% of that was French.. but I got a nifty Bilingual diploma haha)

I love the blog concept on the web, and by watching stories unfold on the net (like Gannon, DSM etc..) I have come to terms that blogs are a much more important media then say... your TV. many don't believe blogs can be entertaining, but they can be! as well as informative.

5. whats your username
over at vSocial, i'll add you to my buddy list over there, have you been uploading often? The great thing is if you have random video clips that you downloaded over the years you can upload them and blog them very easier.. I see from your blog post you found that out.

Otherwise thank again for the blog box post, one of the visits I got was an editor willing to correct the spelling on my site! thats a bonus for me since I seem to have issues with spelling. I'll let you know how that turns out.

7. Videoegg.com
Video egg is also very interesting.

The VideoEgg Publisher

http://www.videoegg.com/

The VideoEgg Publisher is a small website plug-in that makes it truly simple for end-users to capture, edit, encode, and post digital video online. A "universal adapter" that captures directly from hundreds of devices and reads dozens of formats, the VideoEgg Publisher allows users to painlessly publish videos that anyone can watch without worrying about player compatibilities, encoding settings, or extra software. At last, posting a video is as easy as posting a photo! Click here to try it out.

8. I see
yeah vSocial, isn't a software it's a site.. I already have a video editing program. vSocial is simply a location where you can host the videos you cut you can upload any type of format. So if you use blogger you can simply embed the html code onto your site. and the video can be viewed by readers without being redirected. And the blogger doesnt need any 3rd party software (other then the editing software)
