Cooper, the man behind the nation's only unsolved hijacking. The lead had been vetted by law enforcement, and the agency took notice. It was far from a guaranteed identification, and agents still say the 1971 case is a low priority. It doesn't help that the suspect has been dead for roughly a decade. so they think someone survived the jump?
Stunning.
I remember that case at the time. Everyone was fascinated. Most people seemed to be hoping that he would get away with it, if he had lived.
It would be nice to have the mystery solved.

I remember a kid found some old money down there with the serial numbers from that cache on them.
