4. That 's Donna Edwards

The newest rep from Maryland's 4th district. She just got elected in a special election last month to replace corrupt Dem, Al Wynn. She has another election in November. I met her at Take Back America -- she's just amazing, and the right kind of Democrat.

I was so, so glad when she won it wasn't funny! You're right on one thing--she's what a true Democrat is supposed to be. Hopefully all the other Dems will see her example and stop being so damn scared of the repugs and DO THEIR JOB!!!! She'll win the election hands down 'cause I haven't heard which repug is going against her yet, so I say it's all but official for Donna Edwards AND Obama!!!

5. Next year's Netroots Nation is in Pittsburgh

from August 13-16. It will be a much easier trip from here -- maybe even a road trip.

I was almost jealous but then I remind myself of how hard you have been working to get decent people elected. Then I think you deserve more Gore meetings. :) You are fighting the good fight and we all need you in our corner.
