Happy Thanksgiving everybody!
I miss you guys....and gals!

Haven't been getting home until 8:00 or after, between work and trying to get my new laptop set up, and various and sundry other errands I've had to do, I haven't been able to get here in time to watch Keef with the gang.

Anyway, hope all of you have a good day tomorrow, with lots of food, family, friends, and football!

:loveya:  :loveya:

1. I think I'll skip the football, but my dad is coming for dinner
It will just be the four of us -- me, hubby, daughter and my dad. I know it will be hard for you this year, too - first Thanksgiving without our moms. (Actually, last year my folks were in Israel, but I had no idea at the time my mom wouldn't be around for this Thanksgiving. Just shows we never know what's coming -- so much has happened this year.)

4. My Seahawks are so bad this year, I took my dog outta that race.
I just watch now to see if there's any improvement.

Plus, since there will be so many people in the house, I doubt I will be able to pay close attention to the game.

3. MrSG and I are having dinner with his family Thursday.
Friday, I'm going to Oregon, and Saturday, my family is getting together for another Thanksgiving dinner. It will be difficult, but I'm glad I will be with my family for most of the weekend.

I hope you have a wonderful time, Sharon.

And a :toast: to the living memories of our mothers.

9. Hi Sharon!
How was your day? Mine was good. My great niece and I had a blast playing together.

And Friday, I head out to see my siblings and siblings-in-law.

It'll be weird, not having mom there, but we're good at propping each other up, and making good memories.

:loveya: :hi:

11. It was okay
although my turkey was a bit dry. My daughter had accidentally turned the oven off after the made pancakes shortly after I had put the turkey in. By the time I noticed it was off, I had no idea how much it had been cooking and tried to adjust the time and had to start all over, basically. I really should have taken it out about 20 minutes earlier, I think.

Today I stayed in bed until almost 12:30 and may not even bother getting dressed.

12. I got up at 12:30 my time.
Traffic will be rather light today, and I decided to not rush myself like I usually do when I go to Oregon. Some days, you just don't want to hurry to get going.

7. I hope you all had a good day
as hard as it can be when missing those you love. :loveya:

It's been a good day for me. Nice time with the family and great food. (Even the pie turned out OK after all. And if I do say so myself, my mashed potatoes AND my corn pudding just rock.)
