Just got back from the pulmonologist - Asthma check.. |
|
I always leave with more meds.
Went in to the office on a steady diet of Singulair and Advair.
Now...I am on Flovent and Spiriva in addition to the others on a daily basis and I have to go get another baseline chest x-ray and a pulmonary function test.
The doc heard a definite wheeze on a forced exhale which while not severe is probably why I have had so many downturns and not enough upturns...each time I have a sinus problem it just aggravates me further...

When the pollen isn't conspiring against me as it has been lately, I can blow 750 on my peak flow meter, which blows the pulmnologist's mind (I used to sing).

I'm only on Singulair, and have the albuterol inhaler just in case. But, since i went on Singulair back in last September, i think i've only used the inhaler about 3 times. No side effects that i notice. Considering myself fortunate. Take care. The Professor
