having a little communication trouble with my doc. he is a tight lipped yankee cypher. i am thinking about asking to see it. my last doc was very good about giving me copies of things, etc. now i can see that kind of stuff online, but..... :banghead:

an inch thick chart. she thought i was going to sue her. if i hadn't been so sick at the time, i might have. i am thinking about dragging up some stuff that didn't get from rheumie #2 to this guy. just cuz the website thingie will graph your tests over time. i could see my zig-zaggy line. :shrug: it might be reassuring. or not. it would look like information, anyway.

HiPPA mandates that they have to give you a copy of your own chart. However, they can charge a "reasonable fee" for copying the file to be prepared to be given to you.
If they say "no", just mention something about HIPPA/ and/or medical licensing boards... and watch them change colors. :P
