Anyone using Byetta-any side effects

My doc put me on this about a month ago for type 2 diabetes. I'm often nauseous, tired and food doesn't really appeal to me. The first week on it I had a desire for extreme foods (taste), now nothing.

1. Anorexia (loss of interest in food) is a known side effect

and doctors don't consider it particularly troublesome unless it's combined with pain or vomiting. Most Type 2 diabetics need to lose weight, and the anorexia helps the process, although it's extremely unpleasant for the patients. It would be better if you could use it after eating, but that's just not the case.

You're probably tired because you're not eating right.
