Woo-hoo!

Finally out of PT and back on the road again! Now if only the temps were a *tad* lower than the mid-90's....

:woohoo:

1. Congats to you!
Good job. I can sooo relate cuz I was in PT for the first four months of the year and it felt so good to be back in the saddle again and out on the roads. Now I'm in training for an organized century ride on Oct. 1st.
:hi:
Happy trails!

2. A century?!? Wow!
I rode the Seagull century a couple years ago -

it's really almost *cheating* to call it a century 'cuz it is pancake flat.... even so, I have never been more grateful to reach the end of a ride!

3. Ah, but there is that headwind!
Salisbury to Chingoteague and back with a headwind both ways.

It may be flat, but it's not a cakewalk.

5. I've been keeping my biking to about 25-30 miles at a time
I did think of during a Century, but going from Johnstown to Pittsburgh, up and down these hills would be a killer. I think I wait till the West Penn Trail is finished in three to ten years....

6. I'm thinking of doing it this year
My cousin is coming down from NY to ride the Seagull. I can get there in a couple of hours so I'll wait to see if the weather is good that day.
