I have frizzy hair. It's wavy, and there are times I think it looks great. THen there are days it makes me nuts.
Soaking it in Dove Conditioner (good conditioner) or Pantene (superb conditioner) does not seem to help it, so I got Frizz Ease.
Which works pretty well. But makes my hair feel dirty sooner. PS-you also cannot dry your hair before applying it.
It's a drag.
Thank you for listening.

1. Sorry about the frizz. :-( |
|
I see from your profile that you live in freeper hell. Sorry about that!
I occasionally have frizz issues (the back of my head!), and I've had good luck with Redken Outshine (purchased at Hair Cuttery) and Frederic Fekkai Glossing Creme (a little pricier; purchased at Sephora).
I read the boards at MakeupAlley.com, and there are as many solutions for frizz as their are people with frizzy hair. L'Oreal Smooth Intense Antifrizz Serum seems to be very popular (and is reasonably priced).
I know frizz is frustrating; I hope you find something that works for you! ;)

4. Pantene Anti-Frizz cream |

The one that comes in a pump, not a spray bottle. It's the only product I've ever used that mastered the frizz without weighing my hair down or making it feel dirty. Only takes a very small amount. I have wavy hair as well, and live in the south, and humidity can really do a number. It's thick on top of that. Now, the stuff I have I bought over a year ago, so hopefully they still make it. I use such a small amount that it's lasted me a long time. I'm a salon-product adict, and this is better than any of the more expensive salon stuff I've used.
Also, the less you let your hair dry on its own, the better. Use a cooler setting if you have to, but start the drying process when it's very wet. That seems to help me a lot.

5. I'll look for it, thanks. |

That Frizzease stuff is good, too, but expensive. Less expensive than it used to be, but still.
