What needs to be done to draw more posters?
I am so excited that this group has been started, but we obviously need to market this group.

Any ideas?

1. Trend predictions? How-To threads? Technical interpretations?
I'd like to see:

-- tutorials and discussion on how to interpret balance sheets, 10-k's and quarterlies

-- How to "break in" to investing

-- cyclictic trend data, predictions, and tech analysis / opinion

-- interpretations on the 'blather' posted in the Daily Stock Market Watch threads in LBN.

-- comparisons of discount brokerages

-- cost comparisons of various investment vehicles

2. I'd like to talk about the day-to-day market activity.
I check the Daily Stock Market Watch thread in LBN every day but I don't really understand it. It moves fast and I don't understand the jargon and terms.

If anyone here is interested in re-hashing the daily stock trends by discussing/explaining/summarizing the events I would definitely be interested in participating in them, or at least reading them and learning something.

3. Get ozymandius to post his market briefings in here
Most people probably don't even know this group is here--I just found it tonight.

4. here's one more
I feel like an idiot I didn't find the group before since I voted for it. I don't know if it started up while I was out of the country or what. I kept checking back under "Investing," didn't think to look under "Personal Finance."

My duh.

I saw the finance question today in GD and that's how I found out the group was active.

Thanks! I hope my next post will be more intelligent.
