I think my sister's dying of alcoholism |
|
She's been a daily drinker for years. I've rarely seen her sober. Wierdly enough, she works as a nurse so she should know better.
There's something wrong with her guts. She eats then throws up. She's still drinking so I guess she's basically living on the sugars you get off alcohol.
She won't talk about AA. She won't talk about her drinking. She won't even go to the doctor as far as I know.

:(
Since she won't listen to anything related to her drinking, the best you can do is share your experience, strength and hope.
She may reject most references to alcoholism, but she does hear them.

3. We haven't talked in years |
|
Other than alcoholism we have almost nothing in common.
With me in AA and her in denial, we don't even have that.
