almost 9 years now..
after a year and a half of marriage and lots of life changes... i NEVER left, but didn't really go to many meetings with all the changes going on.
moving from Dallas to Fort Worth might as well be a million miles.
I have a new sponsor and she is giving me lots to do. Thank goodness.
time to let go and let god...'cause i sure as hell can't do it.
I don't have any active alcoholics in my life -- I don't need that to be nuts...I'm a real Al-anon. I'm crazy enough for just myself.

1. Welcome to our group, Mrs. Brady. |
|
We follow the same 12 steps and traditions, beginning with the first step-
1.We admitted we were powerless over alcohol( or, insert your addiction here) -that our lives had become unmanageable.
That unmanageability and powerlessness sends us to the edge.
Many of us, myself included are AAers, ACAs and Al-Anons, all rolled into one.
It is a family disease.
I'm glad you found us. :D
Welcome, again.
:hi:

Please stick around. We have so many people here who could use you wisdom.
Lots of people stick their virtual heads in here asking for help and, almost like a greek chorus, we all say: Go To Al-Anon! to the people who are in alcoholic relationships.
