Saturday was a bit of a wash for me, as I knew it would be. I had an all day family event, and though I was very good about what I ate, I have to admit that I grazed my way through the day which is really not in the rules for a WLS patient.
yesterday it was too hot to eat. I had a pancake and some bacon for breakfast and then survived on c/f iced tea for the afternoon. For dinner I took my boys out. I had a plate of salad, and a little bit of veal parmesean w/ pasta (seriously one dinner plate feeds me for at least 3 meals).
today's menu is as follows:
Breakfast: 1/2 cranberry scone and 16 oz diet snapple peach tea
Lunch: we're having a pizza part here at work. I'll have a plate of salad and a slice of pizza.
Dinner: I'll be getting home late: probably a Lean Cuisine or a WW frozen dinner.

1. We went to San Antonio for the weekend for my husband's birthday |
|
so I didn't even try to journal. However, I was very proud of myself when we stopped at Denny's for breakfast on the way home and I had oatmeal, cinnamon apples, and an English muffin. :)

2. UPDATE: had a pretty good day |
|
My breakfast and lunch were right on target.
Instead of the frozen dinner, I had leftovers from the night before (chicken parm and a bite or two of pasta).
for my evening snack I had a very tall glass of ice cold milk (good source of protein)
