As of today, I am down 30 pounds since the middle of September.
I missed my "official" weigh-in a week ago. But, according to the scale at the gym, I wasn't down by much then. I wondered if I had begun to "plateau." But when I weighed in this morning, I was down a total of 4lbs for the two-week period. That isn't bad.
I think the weight loss will slow down now. But if I keep at it, I should be the "new me" by some point in the summer of '08.

Keep up the good work. I'm also planning to be down to my ideal weight by next summer, but I've been being bad lately so I need to get my act back together. Reading posts like your's will help me with my will power.

I think you're right to think about it in the long run because we can drive ourselves crazy over every pound. There are "non-scale victories," too, even when you really do reach a plateau so enjoy every one of them! :hi:
