One of the reasons the ERA didn't pass is because all those heterosexist repressed males, some who no doubt read your fucked up magazine out of that same repression, and the women who follow them thought it would legally open up the door for Homosexual marriage.

We all remember or have heard of Phylliss Shlafly right? Those rw deluded religious folk, the ones who believes a woman's place is in the 'home', the ones that believe a woman can't be raped by her husband, the ones that think sexual access to women should be 24/7 the ones who understood legal precedent, were shitting there pants thinking they'd have to put up with uppity women and 'queers' too. Many of them wanted sexual access to them as well. They just wanted to keep it a secret.

For someone like Flint to try to put forth a simplistic argument about the ERA (where were you 10 years ago Larry? 20?) and use Gloria Steinem of all people as an enemy is just stroking the boys like he usually does, and banking on people not understanding history like they usually don't.

Maybe he's planning on a new magazine; 'Sex positive feminists and the men who love them'--a pictorial view', don't worry boys, THESE feminists shave their legs and MORE! Just like the old days, you'll be hitting that shit all you want and they like girls as well! A little girl on girl action sells to the boys like nothing else.

In fact I ask you Larry, Why is it these guys and some women, find lesbian porn so attractive, but shudder and complain if it's homosexual porn? Are men not beautiful? And why are the bodies of women still used to sell--- everything?

Who the hell is HE to critique the leadership and tactics of the activism towards women's equality when he hasn't been participating?

Who the hell is he to be a critic when he is often and opponent?

It looks like he's really looking to claim respect as someone who wants equality for women, as long as he's allowed to quietly and subtly define what that means through implications without saying that this is what he is doing.

The ERA was stopped by RELIGIONS. I think it was the first time in history that ALL religions agreed on something and used ALL THAT MONEY they have to fight the passage of the ERA. I mean the Jews and the Muslims worked together to fight the ERA.
