and I disagree that it's either Dowd or Levy because there is nothing inbetween. Joy Press just made it look that way.

the lack of a middle ground between passive femininity and abrasive, constant activism is an illusion. That middle ground is where most of us live, at least if we're old enough to choose our battles wisely.

I really get annoyed with light switch mentalities, that "either this or that, nothing in between, light or dark" lack of appreciation for just how complicated life really is that is evidenced by silly writers that the right wing feels compelled to hire.

Joy Press is just another in a long line of them. The best we can do is ignore the twaddle she generates. We know how she thinks, and it has nothing at all to do with reality.
