I just reread Carol Tavris's "The Mismeasure of Woman." |
|
Of the feminist books which I have been lucky enough to encounter, I've found this one to be the most informative and useful. Have any of you read it, and if so, what was your opinion of it? Also, since it's nearly fifteen years old now, I was wondering if any of you knew of a more contemporary book that is written from a similar perspective, which I could read as a follow-up.

2. I've not read it in some time |

I think, however, that it's still "current" in its theme - sad to say, I don't think things have changed that much and we may, in fact, be traveling back in time as far as women's rights.

3. Oddly enough, it's the next book on my list! |
|
I can't wait to get to it. In fact, maybe I'll turn off the computer and start it now. :)
If you have anything you'd like to share about it, I'd love to hear your impressions!
