It's kind of too bad this Group does not get more eyeballs....


Anyway...@ 2:45 EST, the race is under its 4th caution and 85 laps have been run.

It looks like a perfect day at the Speedway, however. Temps in the high 70's and gorgeous skies.

1. Was there yesterday.

Had seats halfway up the turn three grandstands, Kanaan hit the wall directly in front of us after his suspension broke halfway down the back straight. Big flash of fire and carbon fiber bodywork flying everywhere.

Castroneves just turned up the wick something fierce on that sprint to the finish. The pace he set was blistering, and unless something happened, no one was going to catch him.

Patrick ran a nice race. She had a good car, and didn't get flustered.

But the weather report was wrong. It was 86 trackside, humid, without a hint of a breeze. I feel like I was microwaved yesterday.

Had a great time, though.
