Woo-Hoo! Looks like that Bush hiding in South America deal might be true
Here's the original story, more or less:

Our paranoid friends over at Bring It On have put together a story that hasn’t exactly made Washington Whispers. It’s real short and real simple:

The Cuban news service reports that George W. Bush has purchased 98,840 acres in Paraguay, near the Bolivian/Brazilian border.
Jenna Bush paid a secret diplomatic visit to Paraguayan President Nicanor Duarte and U.S. Ambassador James Cason. There were no press conferences, no public sightings and no official confirmation of her 10-day trip which apparently ended this week.
The Paraguayan Senate voted last summer to “grant U.S. troops immunity from national and International Criminal Court (ICC) jurisdiction.”
Immediately afterwards, 500 heavily armed U.S. troops arrived with various planes, choppers and land vehicles at Mariscal Estigarribia air base, which happens to be at the northern tip of Paraguay near the Bolivian/Brazilian border. More have reportedly arrived since then.

http://www.wonkette.com/politics/george-w.-bush/we-hate-to-bring-up-the-nazis-but-they-fled-to-south-america-too-208549.php

Now come this. While Bush's SS guy was getting mugged in Hawaii, this one almost slipped by:

ABC reports that Barbara Bush was the victim of a purse-snatcher in Buenos Aires, Argentina. In the middle of a restaurant, right under the noses of the Secret Service. Who’ve been having troubles of their own:

A Secret Service agent on the advance detail got into an “altercation” with someone after a night out and was badly beaten, according to the law enforcement reports.
Both twins are in Argentina, though no one will say why. Across America, normal families of rich white people are heading home to celebrate our victory over the savage Indians with a commemorative feast, but the Bush family is apparently dispatching two of its more disposal members to find South American hiding places should the indictments start coming down.

First Daughter Barbara Robbed in Argentina

Deep in the jungle near Paraguay (national borders are fairly fluid in that area) sounds just about right for a war criminal. He buys up the local airport, refuses landing permission for anyone who looks iffy, and you gotta go on a 6-week expedition just to get near him. At which point his private Halliburton army kills your ass and feeds you to the crocodiles.

If I were the Punk, I would be thinking the same way.

1. Do they have crocidiles there?
I suppose he could bring them in, but if I ever have a jungle compound I am going to do something different. No crocoddiles for me - monitor lizards. They have the word monitor right in their name - so they'd have to be good at monitoring my vicitims.

They have other possible disposal devices available too. Anacondas and flesh-eating fishies, for two.

Different groups of French and Australian settlers were brought in - all left because they could not tolerate the harsh conditions. Finally in the 1920s and late 1940s Russian Mennonites set up colonies there and were able to survive and even thrive by closely cooperating with each other and with indiginous groups in the region. Unless Bush is planning to link up with the Mennonites, I can't imagine why he would want to settle there. His candy ass wouldn't survive a month in that place.

5. Paraguay has an extradition treaty with the USA. I think they'd
better look somewhere else, maybe Venezuela? Oops, sorry they already dirtied their pants there with Hugo Chavez, so they'd better look elsewhere.

Now since they are moving military into Paraguay, could they be planning a coup there or in a neighboring country so they can change the laws in their favor like they have done here?

Time to put on my :tinfoilhat:.

And annex a few thousand square miles, rename it Bushmania, and offer refuge for nazis on the run worldwide. At a nominal fee of $50 million plus expenses per person.

The Paraguayan Senate voted last summer to “grant U.S. troops immunity from national and International Criminal Court (ICC) jurisdiction.”

...and we know first-hand how Bush views treaties...

9. My tin-foil two cents....
I don't know if Jenna is on any "diplomatic missions", but I do think she had to get out of dodge for some reason or another. This whole story is very, very odd, and I don't think any of it is coincidental.

11. Has ANY US president purchased land in a foreign country while serving?
Perhaps this question has already been answered, but has this happened before BushII?

This should raise concerns: Why is he doing this? And why now?

At the very least, one wonders just how the Bush White House will approach decisions and policies regarding that part of the world.

39. Lots of Germans and Italians in Brazil. There was no extradition from
Brazil for a long time there. I think there is now, tho. And the immigrants weren't all Nazis either -- a very German town called Blumenau was started up by a Dr. Blumenau in the 1880's.

that it's all about securing all the land above the Guarani Aquifer before the water wars - and just like the way Moon now controls more than half this nation's fishng industry he will control many waterways and water sources thanks to the over 4 decade relationship with the Bushes.

It baffles me that people love Bush because he stands up for Christian values blah blah blah, and meanwhile he's totally in the sack with a guy whose whole MO is a slap into face to the most basic Christian doctrine.

Cognative dissonance, anyone?

get it, especially when you make the Moon-LaHaye connection (Left Behind brainwashing books).

But then there are many others who just think it's a subject worth ignoring because it SEEMS farfetched. Unfortunately, everything said about Bush and Moon is true.

33. Has there been any confirmation?
Last I read the Cuban paper was saying that papers in S. America were saying it.

The S. American papers were confirming the story by quoting the local governor as saying he'd heard the rumors, too, but had no confirmation from any official nor had seen any paperwork.

The Bushling was there doing some in-country training with some social-service group (Peace Corps?); it was a mystery as to why she was feted, but that may have just been sucking up (I could imagine if one of Prince Charles' kids were in Maryland for a couple of weeks in the '90s that Clinton would have invited them to the WH for dinner; don't know that I'd expect it, but the US isn't Paraguay).

Some actual confirmation of something approaching fact-hood would be great.
