Al rato, voy a ir a la casa de mi tio adonde me esperan tamales Salvadorenos.

6. Tengo una pregunta para ti
Que es la diferencia entre tamales Mexicanos y tamales Salvadorenos?

(Forgive my grammar if it's bad, i'm kinda new at Spanish)

2. Yeah: HAPPY NEW ASS!
Hehe - never fails to make me laugh, that missing tilde in "feliz ano nuevo".

En todo caso: mucha salud, amor, plata - ¡y tiempo para gastarlas!

Happy 2007 all...

3. Lol! I have ALWAYS been diacritically impaired on computers.
If that's the right term.

Note to self: resolve to figure out how to write properly and discontinue degrading the mother tongue.

:)

to make the ñ on a macintosh you hold down option then press and release the "n". on a windows, put your numlock key on, then hold down the ALT key while on the number pad you press 0 1 4 1 .

5. Better way, on Windows machines: select "international US" keyboard
On a (US English) XP system, here's how:

- Start > Control Panel > Regional and Language Options
- Click on (to activate) the Languages tab
- In the (top) Text services and input languages section, click on the Details... button
- In the (lower) Installed services section, click the Add... button
- Select United States-International as the keyboard layout.

Activate it (there'll be a keyboard / input language icon in the lower right corner, next to the clock) and you'll be able to type all Spanish accents and tildes. With that setting, the apostrophe key will act as the accent (hit apostrophe first, than the vowel) and if you press and hold the AltGr key and then hit n, you'll get ñ (plus shift for Ñ of course).

The only drawback of that system is that if you want either the apostrophe (') or the double quote (") you need to hit the space bar also (so: hit apostrophe key, then the space bar for the sign.) I'm used to that, and can now type Spanish on a US English keyboard no problem.
