“El laberinto del fauno”
¿Quién lo ha visto, y que opinan?

1. I loved it
I thought the ending was great. It was a really good use of fantasy without becoming overly sentimental. I love Guillermo del Toro.

2. I loved the way the story is told

From two different frames of reference, each one internally consistent.

Ophelia's world is evocative of the Magical Realism of Gabriel García Márquez, Laura Esquivel, Carlos Fuentes, or Mikhail Bulgakov.

3. Yeah
It was very well-made. I'm glad it got nominated for an Academy Award but I don't understand why Volver was not.
