Does anyone know anything about cancer clusters in Phoenix Arizona
Particularly cancers of the genitourinary tract? My MIL was diagnosed last November with and died from Clear cell Renal Carcinoma in March. My FIL was diagnosed , (on the same day), with recurrent prostate cancer. He was diagnosed the first time back in 2000. They live in the Sun City neighborhood and back up against the golf course. I know that golf courses are sources of alot of chemicals, from spraying and fertilisers. I can't help but think that there is some sort of connection. The neighbor across the street was diagnosed with the same Renal Cell Carcinoma a few years ago and is a "long term survivor", at least for Renal Cell.

Also, I want to ask anyone if they've ever heard of a competent oncologist allowing a person with Stage 4a cancer go without treatment for 2 months while waiting for some experimental drug? Upon diagnosis, my MIL left kidney was removed and then she was just allowed to sit for almost a full 3 months even thugh there is all sorts of information about agressive treatment for Renal with interleukin and interferon. There were no mets to the lungs or liver found after testing when they performed the surgery but by january, there wa WIDESPREAD metastases throughout the organ system. I just want to know if anyone has ever heard of this?

1. Very sorry for your in-laws!
What a sad tragedy for your family, I'm very sorry
:(
Here's an interesting article about leukemia clusters in AZ...

I worry that "health officials" spend more time trying to cover up cancer clusters than they do trying to root out the problems

:(
