My biopsy report for a two-colored mole: in situ malignant melanoma. |
|
I have to be referred to a surgeon to remove surrounding skin layers, but my dermatologist told me that she "caught it early".
Can anyone tell me more about "early" malignant melanomas before I start to do a google search and get so much information that I can't digest it?
BTW, I'm fine with this all. Not that I'm delusional or in denial. I know it's serious but it's also nearly 100 percent treatable.
But I'd appreciate any input you may have for me.

1. Call 1-800-4Cancer and ask the people there |
|
My wife works in the cancer field and that is her recommendation. Glad they caught it early and good luck.

3. Great early diagnosis. |

I am hoping that my husband gets some good news when he goes in to have a variety of skin lesions and moles checked out in a few weeks. I have been begging him to see a dermatologist for a year. If anything is wrong it won't be an early diagnosis for him.
You were smart to tackle the problem in time. I'm wishing you the best.
