"Morning After Pill" Stops Tumors in Mice
http://www.wxii12.com/health/10434025/detail.html

Scientists are reporting success in the lab using the "morning-after pill" in their search for a drug to block the effects of a gene linked to breast cancer.

Researchers said RU-486 helped block tumors in mice bred with a gene that spurs progesterone -- which the abortion pill blocks.

The scientists hope to eventually create a safer hormone blocker that can be used in women to block this so-called bad gene.

3. Meh - I'm okay, thanks for asking
I had a pretty lousy visit with my urologist today. I have to change doctors. But he at least gave me a new pain med to try (I had to go to my GP to get anti-nausea meds :eyes:). Anyway, have an appt. with the oncologist next Weds.

Thanks for asking. :hi:
