5. I wish that the Democrats were as good as the video claims, but

they seem all too ready to sacrifice Medicaid, Medicare and Social Security as well as other programs that keep the middle class and working class alive.

6. Unfortunately, not all Democrats stand strong for

those ideals. If only they would. Many of them are beholden to the same moneyed interests. However, I'd still take the Democrats over the GOP any day of the week. In a two party system, they're our best shot. There are still many good ones, like Sherrod Brown, Tim Ryan, Bernie Sanders (although he's actually an Independent), to name just a few. I still count Obama as one of the good guys. I believe in his heart of hearts he's very much a man of the people. Unfortunately, he's forced to fight the battle in a corrupt system. It's absolutely imperative that we get him re-elected and put more Democrats in both Houses of Congress. Then, hold them accountable.
