What is on the other side of the earth where it would come through? Or would it just melt into the lava center?

Unless it's containment shell is made of ice. It's not even hot enough to boil water at the moment. All of this "China Syndrome" nonsense is just another attempt to restart the hysterical fearmongering that characterized the early days of the incident, by people who really don't at all understand the science, but know that there's viewership and therefore money in terrorizing people.
