IMO, the biggest difference between OWS and the tea boogers is that OWS will inconvenience themselves to get their point across. Camping out rough on the street for weeks as a means to express your disgust is way more effective than holding up misspelled signs for a day and then going back to the hotel room after the news cameras have gone home.

5. The first thing the Tea Party needs to do is to stop referring to SS as "welfare."

I had a heated discussion a few months ago with a TeaBagger who swore up and down that Social Security was "welfare." No amount of explaining that SS is an insurance program could sway him.
