Lest we forget, as we go into this election season. . .
The real forces we are battling are the "conservative" wingnuts who don't believe in good government. They believe that the power of our collective political will is evil, for if it is not them then it cannot be good. And if it cannot be good then it must be evil because nothing, according to their perverse ideology, is relative. According to them they are good and we are evil, and they cannot compromise with evil.

According to them greed is good, so anyone who opposes greed is what?

Then there is their psuedo economic theory, "supply-side economics" which is to economics what "creation science" is to science. We all know where this leads: it yields concentration of wealth and it creates bubbles. The rich get richer, and they get a lot richer. The middle class gets obliterated.

I could go on but their perverse ideology doesn't ever make any more sense than this and the bottom line is that if these pukes are allowed to complete the job they started the America that we know is gone forever. We become what? We become a larger version of Mexico. Try mentioning this to one of them some time. I have and they don't even deny it. Rather they start extolling the virtues of Mexico where the average worker makes what? $5 per day. Gee wouldn't that be great!

These people need to be relegated to the position they occupy today. If you care about the world we will pass to our children . . . well I know I am preaching to the choir here. The party of no and no one must be relegated to a small group of irrational ideologue obstructionists because that is the only position that is safe for them to occupy. They must be back benchers. Let Dick Cheney come out from under his bridge from time to time to bite a few ankles. If he is let out from under the bridge he can cause so much more damage, as we all know.

Make no mistake people: "conservatives" are the real enemy. I truly hope that there are enough of us who understand this.

1. I certainly hope so, too. We must start to look for solid Democratic candidates and
support them financially and by VOTING in November. We must keep the Democratic Party in the majority in Congress. A Republican increase in the Senate would be a disaster if we plan on getting anything changed over the next 7 years. If people thought it was bad with 60 Dem Senators, imagine what it would be like with 50.
