the usual suspects feel toward the Obama administration.

You can almost feel the "glee" they feel with this story

What is also interesting is how they also assume you are assumed guilty before being proven. It is perfect mod rule. Even the headline: "Geithner’s New York Fed Told AIG to Limit Swaps Disclosure", if not read carefully, would lead one to conclude that "Geithner" directly told AIG, NOT that the New York Fed Told AIG. It is a small but very subtle point. It doesn't mean that Geithner wasn't involved, and it begs the question or investigation, however, they are not only ready to lynch Geithner, but Emanuel, and the President in some of their posts

I will be spending the majority of my time over here. Not to avoid negative stories, but to avoid overzealous hate toward this administration

I am sick of it

It should be noted that republican darryl issia(sic), the same puke who organized a recall against Davis after he become govenor in California

I would want to know all sides before I would believe issa

2. I wouldn't trust anything that comes from issa, and yet if a preconveived notion fits
into their mindset, screw objectivity, as long as it gives them an opportunity to bash the administration

3. Off with his head!!!

Now you know how the French Revolution happened, the bad parts.

You point to the problem with precision.

The Bloomberg article is actually fairly balanced, relatively speaking, but a lot of these people didn't read it on Bloomberg. If they did, most of them didn't understand it. They read a summary on Common Dreams. I have no real problem with that site, but the article itself is a pile crap. It has a long-ish quote that isn't even sourced ... I mean, the author doesn't say who said it, just that it was said.

Anyway, I'm keeping mum on this one for now. It's developing, as they like to say, and I can see it going several ways, most of them not nearly as bad as people *want* to make it.
