Well when the left helps bash the republicans bash the Dems for the past year |
|
you get exactly what happened yesterday. The right bashes the Democrats every chance they get because it helps to undermine their standings in the eyes of the independents and moderates. This past year the right have valuable help from the misguided left who joined in helping get a Republican elected. Poor Ted Kennedy must be turning in his grave after what happened.

One never sees Republicans form the circular firing squad, or threaten to stay home because everything is not 100% to their liking.
When have the Repukes ever had anything like this Dean trashing us in the M$M type of thing?
And their base does not sit at home and wait for goodies to be delivered to them.
And they make me  when they claim there is no change. The President has accomplished incredible things within one year.
yet that is all they gave him!

4. Progressives are on the "we told you so" |
|
script. I have asked on another thread what plan do Progressives have? What candidates do they have to run against Blue Dogs? Do progressives have a winning strategy? All I get is the same old rhetoric. Crappy health care bill, war, corporate cronyism etc.,
I didn't even get an answer about the health care bill. I asked, what now if the health care bill is dead? I guess the answer is let more Americans die because we didn't get our way.
When it comes to war, I don't like it either. But I do understand how hard it will be to pull out.

5. It's what we've been saying |
|
Of course it's common sense. If you're in power and you sow the seeds of discord and dissent what else can you possibly expect?
I am not shocked at what happened, but I am shocked that anyone with half a brain is surprised.

it's only for two years and brown may have swarmed and lied hard for the seat but is he going to work hard for the people of Mass or the teabag party of no?
The corporatemediawhores will play this to the hilt just like they do the quitter palin but I'm thinking brown will be his own worst enemy in the Senate just like palin is her own worst.
