In 2008, we voted for change.

We voted to reign in Wall Street. We voted to create jobs for working families. We voted to do something about climate change. And workers rights. And getting corporate money out of Washington. And we voted to finally give everyone in America the right to quality, affordable health care.

Whatever we voted for, it's all at risk right now.

The danger of health reform stalling or Congress missing the opportunity altogether is real. The longer it takes, the harder it will be to finish reform right. And if Republican obstructionists and their insurance company buddies succeed in killing health care reform and preserving the status quo, the political will for passing any of the other things we voted for plummets. That's why we need you to take the fight to the streets. The entire progressive agenda is at stake.

In 2008, people from all over the country, all walks of life, all ages and races, voted for change. It's now up to Congress to ignore the Republican obstructionists and corporate lobbyists and deliver the change we voted for. Congress must get it done now, and get it done right.

So we're taking it to the streets!

We're planning rallies all over the country for Wednesday, February 17th. They're going to be big and they're going to be loud. We're going to stand together and send an unmistakable message to Congress that they must deliver.

We need you to attend one in your area. If you can, we need your help to spread the word to your friends, your family, your neighbors, and others so we can make sure Congress gets the message. If you want to, we'll also help you organize your own rally to make sure we get the change we voted for.
