The very same people calling for the head of Markos because of his views on Kucinich are some of the very same people who support Primaries against blue dog members of Congress.
His reasons for blocking health care reform may be very different to that of Stupak, or in the Senate people like Nelson, but he is still blocking a key Democratic proposal from passing.
The principle is simple. Health reform is flagship legislation that was a key part of the Democratic platform in 2008. If you attempt to take it down, you hand a key victory to the Republican Party. That should apply whether you are Saint Dennis or Mary Landrieu.
