Glenn Greenwald dishonest attacks on supporters of the President
It really pisses me off that the blog troll is given any credibility. Beyond arrogance and lying he has little else going for him.

3. That';s because Obama supporters have called out Greenwald's lies
Glenn is, after all, the Definer.

At least the definer of all that is good and liberal...

in his little pin head.

7. I'd like to get him in a room ...

...where he doesn't have Internet access and challenge him to a battle of intellects.

I doubt he could make it past the first round.

Every time I accidentally read something that individual writes, I get this itch in the back of my head that I've read this before. And then I realize I have. It was that freshman student who wandered into the writing center daily, or it was that wikipedia article without citations, etc.

8. I figured this out a few months ago

Been off his mailing list for some time now - his ego got the best of him.

Edit: oh, and you know what's really funny - seeing people who could have cared less what he said a while back jumping to his defense all of a sudden. Not because they agree with what he's writing, but because he's lost perspective and can't write without extreme bias any more - thus he's part of a 'team' now. Oops.

10. Elena Kagan's now official.
Expect a rage-filled half-coherent rant from Greenwald about how the President "isn't a real liberal" and a "traitor to the party of FDR and Kennedy and Johnson" or something like that.

13. The worst is that Greenwald was all for Citizens United, so it's not like
he has the sort of judgment that makes him a good critic of future Justices.

15. Greenwald was FOR the majority in Citizens United?
Then why the hell are we listening to him at all?

12. I don't even bother reading Greenwald

Go outside and ask 100 people who Glenn Greenwald is and you won't get a single person.

I talk to neighbors about what happened to Charlie Crist and Bob Bennett and they don't have a clue.

14. I'm getting to the point where I can laugh about the "reaction from the left."
I hit the "unsubscribe" button on Greenwald a while ago.

16. Considering Greenwald supports corporate personhood and Ron Paul
he is hardly a good representative of the "left". He is just the latest media puppet.

17. I take your point, but I was referring to those on the left to whom he is the last word.
First and last, and forget about all that Ron Paul stuff, know what I mean?

I don't think there's been any Obama initiative that's happened where eventually, and usually right out of the gate, we see 200+ recs at the top of the Greatest Page for a Greenwald piece that justifies the OP's position against the initiative.

18. Same here. I think Greenwald is all about ego, trying to prove he's
the "most" liberal, rather like that idiot Jane what's her name at FDL. One thing I've realized is that life goes on even with the Greenwalds of the world predicting catastrophe twice a day, every day.
