I want to say something about the bone-headed proposal reported earlier today
I was riding back home this morning listening to Public Radio when I head the report that the President has propose a revamping of the entire tax code. The aim, it was said, was to make it more equitable. I had to immediately ask myself, what on earth does that fool think he is doing? No one in their right mind would open up that can of works with the Republicans firmly in control of both houses of Congress - yes, the Senate too. It is outrageous! If this proceeds Republicans will fix the tax code of this country to benefit the rich, and the rich only for the next 100 years. It is the very worst of timing I have seen come out of this Administration yet. Can they do nothing that does not benefit the powers that be and what on earth does the President think he is doing inviting disaster?

Kill the tax cuts and lets put up with the system we've got until after 2012, and then if Republicans control all that is left of this country they can kill the rest without the help of a Democratic President and if we've still got one then let him take it on when he has no political future to plot for, to compromise for, to give up the farm for.

3. Is there any way we can just keep Obama from "Helping" us any more?
Can no one think of a project to keep him busy and out of trouble?

8. You saw where Karl Rove was applauding Obama's latest "compromise" right?
I'm thinking they're wanting to see more from the President. It's all working out superbly for them.

11. They couldn't care less about that.
Remember, half the middle-class and half the unemployed are REPUBLICANS. It's all just a big win-win for them.
