I have been busy putting up my Christmas decorations today. I had planned on playing my christmas records, but can`t turn Bernie off. This man is a national treasure, IMHO. As long as Bernie speaks I will listen. I`m going to have to check out his phone number so I can let him know how much I appreciate his filibuster.

8. I've often said I want to clone him. I was actually with someone today who

is an uneducated voter (she's not uneducated, but she knows next to nothing about the people she votes for; she only tends to vote in the major elections). She typically votes Republican mainly because everyone around her has always voted R. I'm disabled and she helps me out once a week (cleaning and way more). She's enthusiastically involved in her fundamendalist church. And she's a really good person who is actually pretty open & cool -- I've known her for almost 2 years now. I try to gently educate her. I turned on Bernie today quite loud so she could hear it whatever she was doing. I explained to her what was going on, including my pique with Obama (who she knows I voted for) and what the Republicans were doing (I try to educated her A LOT about Republicans!). I explained who Bernie is and what he's doing.

Well, as she was working she began cheering some of the things he said and what he was doing. Bernie actually got through educated her in ways I've struggled with over the past couple of years. I love Bernie and loved him even more for getting through to someone who really learned today!!

11. For her to hear a man speak with compassion

about his fellow citizens who while not directly speaking to her, perhaps made her more willing to listen in a way that she didn't feel like he was trying to convince her of his pov.

His reading of letters written to him by everyday people - whom I'm sure she's heard endure these types of problem, she could relate maybe allowed her to lower her gaurd and actually listen. Most of our reps talk because they luuuuvvv the sound of their own voice.

I'm going to write to each one of my Senators a really nice, polite letter letting them know that Bernie Sanders is the type of Senator that each 99 should aspire to become, then we'll have the government we deserve.

Let's hope some of the clowns who call themselves goverment servants attempt to become half the man Sen. Sanders has proven to be.
