CNN is covering the entire Clinton & presser IN FULL. It's like Clinton is the President. |
|
Edited on Fri Dec-10-10 04:49 PM by Hannah Bell
Way more coverage than Sanders has gotten, or The President.
WTF IS THIS CRAP.
YOU'RE NOT THE PRESIDENT, BILL.
I DON'T CARE ABOUT YOUR SO-CALLED THOUGHTS ON THE ECONOMY.

president.
even if Obama thought this was a good idea, clinton's duty was to give him good counsel, make calls & let key people (including media) know that he supported the deal instead of HOLDING A PRESS CONFERENCE WHICH WAS ALL ABOUT HIM.
I think the deal sucks. But that's immaterial to the fact that clinton didn't serve the president well.

|
Edited on Fri Dec-10-10 06:20 PM by JDPriestly
threw the Obama administration off a liberal course.
Now we see that Peter Orszag got a big job with Citibank -- a company owned in great part by foreign interests.
The extent of the corruption that the Clinton/Obama crew practice is just incredible.
I have to add that whatever Clinton says will not shift the sands. This is the age of the internet, the information age. People are empowered to make judgments for themselves.
Bernie Sanders and those who oppose extending the tax cuts for the wealthy make sense. They are not motivated by the hope to make millions from the wealthy class. They are motivated by genuine concern for people who are choosing between buying a quart of milk or some vegetables for their children.
I've been in the situation where I had to make choices between milk or a vegetable. I know how that feels. Obama apparently has never been in that position. Nor has Clinton.
But today, working Americans are in those dire straits. There is no apology for the compromise that Obama is proposing.
The Republicans will vote for the middle class tax cut as soon as they have the Senate. They will also vote for the tax cut to the upper class. And we will all be referring our friends to Bernie Sanders' words during his filibuster.
Obama and Clinton and Boehner and McConnell can either get with the program that will benefit the American people or go work for Wall Street.

Bill Clinton called the Republican's bluff once, back in 1995, and Gingrich shut the federal government down, but Gingrich wound up getting blamed for it.
Bill said today that we are not in the kind of situation that we can afford to dicker much on this anymore. His comments were spot on, and I think this is first time in quite a few years that he really knew just how important his gravitas is with the press. The MSM has not helped Obama one freaking bit, so Obama brought in Bill, and then Bill dared them to call him a liar!!
Brilliant. Simply brilliant.
What's the fucking press going to do, call both of the last 2 Democratic Presidents liars? Are you kidding me? After the mess Bush Junior left for Obama to clean up!?! Not a chance!
