Before anyone condemns the Dream Act |
|
I might advise everyone to check their heritage - you might be illegal too especially if your parents came here from other countries during any of the wars. Most of the checking was not automated - it was done by people who did not understand what people were saying, they were asked to change their names or guess what people were saying at the time. Could you be illegal because of your ancestors? That could be a very possibility!
Were the Pilgrims legal? Did they have papers? Where did they all come from?
Dream Act is looking at one people - the Mexican people!
Dream on tea thugs - you might also be an illegal - check your back ground carefully - very carefully, bet there are some loop holes we can send you back to your country.
Your parents or grandparents or great parents came here from a foreign country - are you legal especially during the wars? You have their papers? I want to see those papers. You might be illegal.

Your quotes:
"I want to see those papers. You might be illegal." is a scummy thing to write.
"you might also be an illegal - check your back ground carefully - very carefully," is just as bad..

3. this is not an argument that is going to persuade people who are on the fence |
|
Nor is it going to persuade anybody who is firmly against it.
