I gotta say, the op ed cartoonists haven't been this savage since the Bush days. And Horsey is a liberal.

3. That seems to be the big difference between the parties
Republicans: tax cuts for all!! Democrats: is that really the best thing??
Republicans: more wars!! Democrats: is that really the best thing??
Republicans: follow the leader without thinking Democrats: Whoa!! That is not right

Republicans follow their leaders because they say what they want to hear

Democrats question their leaders when they stray off course

5. Funny thought on that I posted before.
Any fraternity that feels they need to humiliate or hurt to be a part of their group, is a form of training and need for superiority complex to create an authoritarian structure by submissive actions of newer people with an implied promise of being able to do it to someone else later

Exact same as collector doctrine.

Side note, when given choices like that, I don't let someone decide if I am 'in there group' and further more let them know clearly that if they think people have to submit to them to be in their group. I specifically tell them that I will change it, since not going to be part of a group that does those things. Or if I am, the group will change those actions.

Don't let someone say if you are in some group or not, that is a control thing. If you are in a group be in it. And don't be 'trained' in the way Hazing trains people.

That also fits the idea of 'taking care of people above you' prymid style, instead of helping the people below you up V style.
