:hi:

Right now I'm working my way through Cat Bordhi's New Pathways for Sock Knitters...I LOVE it.

Also, spinning yarn...not a lot lately, I need to get back on the wheel.

How about y'all? :)

1. crocheting.....
....I can't remember how to post pictures or I would show you - I've got three or four projects going on right now.

I hate that I have so many, but a set of twins interrupted my flow (if you know what I mean). They are due in August and my stepdaughter needed gifts for the shower (on Monday). Now I'm working on a blanket for their older sister - just in case he gets jealous of a baby invasion.

Spinning - wow - now that is attention to detail!

2. A new sewing room
My daughter moved out and I've decided to take over her room as a sewing/craft studio. I've been setting up my new studio, painting, getting things organized, etc. It is SO nice to have space to put away my stuff properly, as opposed to shoving it in random closets or under beds. I can't wait to finish so I can actually work on some projects in there.

4. Thinking about making box pleated drapes
for the living room. Surfing for all the How-to's The net is not living up to it's reputation, nothing but "buy this".
I just built and covered an ottoman and am thinking of making a plant stand. A bit of painting here and there.
Just trying to stay busy.

7. Thanks, That helps a lot.
Now if you could help me get my nit-picky sister off my back.
I am making the curtains 1/2 inch off the floor and she says they should be 1-1/2 inches to vacuum under.
I say "they are my curtains- my way."

8. new to non-political du- i spin to stay sane!
i had not spun much for a long time and during bush's second reign i started again, rather obsessively at that time. i found that this decade there actually is a little market for handspun, whereas there wasn't before, and that's nice.
