Sometimes it takes a LONG time for my sinus meds to take effect. That means I sit upright, or I don't breathe. Thank heavens for my beadworking tools. Recently, Fire Mountain had a sale on wood components, and asked "What wood you do?" 22 gauge wire for the spacer beads, 18 gauge for the large spiral.

... with the wire spacers and the floating spiral. May I ask how you adhere the wire spirals to the wood?

2. It's easier to see on the light-colored wood

The circles come pre-drilled with a small hole. I just put the tail end of the spiral through it and wrap a typical connecting link on it like you would any bead. The spacer beads I wound on a knitting needle and cut the spirals into ~1cm pieces.
