If a buyer puts something on their watch list, does a seller know it? |
|
And do they know which buyer is watching specifically?

1. You know someone is watching, but you don't know who it is. nt |

I watch a lot of stuff I know I'm probably not going to buy, just because I am interested, I like it, and I wonder what it will go for.
Many times, I HAVE NOT BID because I think it's worth more than what people are offering or, no offers, and I think, darn, I should have gone for it!
I am a buyer, who if I see a BUY IT NOW in the range of credibility - I would just prefer to buy it that way rather than wait a week and hope I edge out someone for $7.00. I kinda think more sellers should try the buy it now but be real with the amount.

3. other bidders watch the view page count at the page, too |
|
....to see how many people are interested. And before eBay started hiding the identity of bidders, a seller and the bidders could strategize by who was already bidding.

5. most sellers put a little calculator on the page somewhere |
|
....it will look like a little box, with numbers in it. It counts page views.
